Facing Fears: Stepping Out of My Comfort Zone for a Podcast
This upcoming Thursday, I find myself on the brink of a new experience—I'm scheduled to be interviewed on a podcast by a woman named Kami Grayson at SKST studios. While being interviewed by a woman might not sound particularly groundbreaking, for me, it's a significant step outside my comfort zone.
As a woman, navigating social spaces can be intimidating, especially when they involve other women. Most of these women out here are extremely gay and envious, which is why I avoid them at all cost. Most of the women I've encountered in my past were nothing but nasty, disgusting, lesbian bullies, which made me stay away from all females.
Despite this, the opportunity to share my thoughts on this podcast feels too important to pass up. I'll be discussing my new book, music, and domestic violence, and it's a chance for me to connect with a broader audience. It’s also a moment for me to confront my fears and show that, even within the confines of my anxieties, I can step forward and speak my truth.
Podcasts have a kind of magic—they allow for in-depth conversations that can resonate with many listeners. If I can use this platform to foster understanding or inspire even one person to step beyond their fears, it’ll be worth it.
Embracing vulnerability is not easy, but growth often lies just beyond your comfort zone. So, here's to stepping into the unknown, bravely sitting down for this interview, and hopefully, forging a genuine connection in the process. I’ll let you all know how it goes! The podcast this upcoming Thursday will be my first podcast since 2023 with Sarah Adams at Film Sessions. Listen to my 2023 podcast interview . I plan to release the new 2025 podcast on all platforms.
Stay tuned!
