Today was a significant day for me as I made an appearance on The Kami Grayson Show to discuss my latest book, Living Around Dangerous Human Predators and How to Survive Them Part 2. It was an incredible experience to share my journey of resilience, how I turned my experiences into something constructive, and the lessons I've learned along the way—especially about escaping three domestic violence situations. While I don’t have the full episode yet, I promise to share it as soon as I do.
Speaking on the show allowed me to connect with others who might be going through tough times. My book provides vital insights on recognizing dangerous behaviors and finding ways to navigate them. I truly believe that sharing stories is a powerful means of healing, not just for yourselves but for those who resonate with your experiences.
After the show, I headed out to a local bar with a friend I met online. I wanted to catch up and talk more about the topics discussed on the show. Although my recovery journey means that I’ve chosen to abstain from alcohol, I enjoyed ordering a mocktail. It’s a refreshing reminder that socializing can still be enjoyable while making healthy choices.
I feel thankful for days like today that allow me to share my story while also forging new friendships. There’s something about connecting with others who understand or are curious about the topics of resilience and recovery. I’m looking forward to what’s ahead and will keep you all posted with updates about the show and my ongoing journey. Take care everyone, and remember, you can always rise above your circumstances. Stay tuned for more!
