Yesterday started like any other day—early and with the familiar ritual of weighing myself. I clocked in at 129 lbs, a number that I’m watching closely. My goal is to shed 9 lbs, but as anyone who has tried to lose weight knows, it can be a challenging journey.

After the scales, I made my way to the Portsmouth Humane Society. They offer free dog food and treats there, a great resource for pet owners like me. My black Labrador retriever is always a hungry pup, and I appreciate any help I can get to keep him happy and healthy.

Once I had the goodies for my furry friend, I headed over to Rainbow. I love this store; they have a fantastic selection of cute dresses, and the best part is that they are only $3! It’s one of my favorite places to find something stylish without breaking the bank.

Feeling pleased with my shopping, I stopped by 7 Eleven to grab a Cherry Sakura flavored Red Bull. It’s my guilty pleasure and gives me just the boost I need for the rest of the day.

Next, it was time to pick up my son from school, along with two of his friends who needed rides home. It’s always nice to catch up with their stories as I drive—little snippets of their lives that make me appreciate their youthful enthusiasm.

After dropping off the kids, I made a quick stop at a gas station to use the bathroom. Sometimes those quick breaks are necessary, especially with a busy day ahead! Then, it was on to the library to print out a movie script for "Shattered Trust," a project by Kay P Unscripted Productions that I’m really excited about.

The highlight of my day was the table read I participated in via Zoom. It lasted three hours, but it was thoroughly engaging, and I’m thrilled to share that I got the role I wanted! It feels amazing to embark on this creative journey, and I can’t wait to dive deeper into the character.

Feeling accomplished, I rounded off my day with some quality time on the treadmill for 30 minutes. Afterward, I treated myself to a frozen meal for dinner, followed by some cookies for dessert. A little indulgence after a busy day is always well-deserved!

To wind down, I settled in to watch some television and played a game on my phone called Merge Sweets. It’s a good way to relax and clear my mind after a long day. I also took some time to edit a photo for this blog post and finally started writing it.

And that’s a wrap on my day!
