Terror Firsthand: Day Party Gone Wrong

The day after, I released a song and then sat around drinking all day at the hotel. I didn't know what else to do. I decided to leave Myrtle Beach and go to Atlanta. I didn't perform anymore fire tricks because I was too scared that I was going to burn myself. I got back the remaining money from the hotel that I didn't use. I didn't want to stay a whole week anymore.

After I got to Atlanta, I checked into a hotel and I started applying for acting jobs. I found a few roles that I thought I would like, but I didn't hear back from the casting directors. Most of those roles involved playing a prostitute, a junkie, or someone that's living on "the fringe of society". I figured that if I didn't hear back from any of the casting directors by the time my monthly membership restarts on the casting website, then I'd just cancel my account. There's no need to pay it.

Other than applying for acting jobs, I've basically been hiding in the hotel room all day, trying to figure out how to get some more money. I went out to eat later that night at a chicken joint and I ended up eating too much. The calories on the food menu were very high, but I ate there anyway.

After I got back to the room, I got even hungrier and started binge eating a bunch of snacks. I knew I needed to put my foot down, so I decided that if I dined out at another chicken joint again, I would only order one piece of chicken and one side and water- not two pieces and two sides and a biscuit and a drink. That is way too much food for someone who is trying to maintain their current weight.

I began to roll up a blunt while I was in the room and something terrible happened. My bag of shake fell on the floor. The weed was grinded up so fine, that I knew I wasn't going to be able to get all of it up. I picked up as most of it as I possibly could, but I saw pieces of lint and dirt in it, and I didn't want to smoke it anymore. I was very upset and I started crying. Had the weed just been nuggets of flower and not shake, I would have easily been able to pick it up off the floor.

Around 12 am, I called Romeo in Mesa Arizona. I asked him if he was available even though I was all the way in Atlanta. To my surprise, he was in Atlanta too. I was shocked. What were the chances of that happening? I told him which hotel I was at and he came over.

I started carrying on a conversation with Romeo and one thing led to another. He ended up f*cking me all night and I ended up asking him if he wanted to see me again for a music video. He said sure. I told him what happened with the weed and he actually did something that I didn't expect him to do. He gave me money to go buy more weed. I was happy, and I knew that Romeo was the one for me. I planted a kiss on his lips right before he left the hotel room to go to work. Romeo mentioned that his job required him to travel from state to state, and that's how he ended up in Atlanta. He actually mentioned that he was a truck driver.

After Romeo left, I paid for the hotel for another night. I knew that it wouldn't last too much longer because I couldn't afford to pay. I decided to spend my last day in the room, having as much fun as I could.

First, I went a celebrity meet and greet day party at a placed called the Sunset Sky Bar and Grill. The celebrity was a rapper whom I had been a fan of since I was a child. I had to pay $60 just to get in and take a picture with the celeb, whose name I am not going to mention. After I took the picture, the celebrity signed a T shirt with his face on it for me, and then I went back to the main party area. The meet and greet was packed. There were hordourves and food there, which I didn't eat.

After being in the venue for about 15 minutes, I saw the scariest thing I had ever seen. Some one was walking around on fire. The person was burning all over their body and then eventually fell to the floor. The smoke alarm went off and everyone rushed out of the building. No one walked over to the person and tried to extinguish the fire. It was sad and sickening. I knew that the person was going to die.

I reached into my purse and pulled out a fire blanket. I carry them everywhere I go. I put the fire blanket over the person and extinguished the fire. A few minutes later, the ambulance arrived and I asked them,

"Is that person going to be okay?"

"I don't think that person is going I make it." The paramedic replied.

The paramedics proceeded to carry the person out on a stretcher and into the ambulance. I left the venue and went back to my hotel. I didn't know what the f*ck had happened or how that person ended up on fire. I figured I'd just watch the news later on.

After I left the horrifying meet and greet day party, I went to a cannabis dispensary. After I got inside, I was told that I had to have a permit in order to purchase it. I was furious because I needed to smoke. I knew I couldn't stay in Georgia very long. After I left the dispensary, I took Big C to a dog birthday party for a German shepherd dog turning 1 years old named Rascal. I saw the flyer online and the cost was only $5 to get in. On the flyer it stated that aggressive dogs weren't allowed, so I knew that there wasn't going to be any dog fighting going on, which sounded safe.

When I arrived, there were lots of dogs. Most of them were on a leash but some of them were running around. There were dog treats everywhere, dog food, and lots of toys. The party host was grilling hotdogs, sausages, and hamburgers. I couldn't resist the smell of the grilled food so I ate a plain hotdog, a plain hamburger with cheese, and a bag of plain potato chips. I gave a hamburger to Big C and he gobbled it down with one swallow. Big C didn't get a chance to meet Rascal. Rascal was too busy playing with a bunch of other dogs and I didn't let him off the leash. The dog party was packed and I stayed there for about only 30 minutes before leaving.

After the dog party, I went back to the hotel to watch the news.

"Earlier this afternoon, there was a fire inside of the Sunset Sky Bar and Grill. Witnesses recall seeing someone walking around on fire. One of the witnesses, who refused to talk to us on camera, was seen extinguishing the burning person with a fire blanket, after the victim fell to the ground. The victim, whose name was Tremaine Jaquarious Eaton, 28, died from fourth degree burns and has succumbed to their injuries. He leaves behind one child." The reporter said.

That must be me they're talking about, I thought. I'm the one who extinguished the fire. I couldn't stop binge eating. I didn't want to eat through such a traumatic event but I couldn't help it. I grabbed a turtle ice cream pie from the mini fridge inside the room and started eating it with a glass of champagne.

"Witnesses say that Tremaine Jaquarious Eaton was last seen in the bar and grill's office with the owner, Paul Lawrence Crouton. Eaton worked at the bar and grill as a party promoter and host. Some stated that Crouton and Eaton argued over money alot, and that Eaton may have owed Crouton money. Some also say that Eaton may have been having an affair with Crouton's wife. Others that worked at the bar said that Eaton joked on Crouton's name alot, and said that his name sounded like something you would put in a salad." Said the news reporter.

"That's crazy." I said outloud.

"Crouton was taken into custody and was held at the Fulton county jail on a $1,000,000 bond. He was later released on bail. Crouton denied the allegations of setting Eaton on fire and said that he would never do such a thing to his best friend and business partner of 9 years. Crouton's wife, Mary Ann Crouton, stated that the Sunset Sky Bar and Grill would be closing it's doors forever." The news reporter continued.

Obviously Mary Ann Crouton didn't comment on the alleged affair with Eaton. I couldn't believe Paul Lawrence Crouton was walking around after being accused of setting a man on fire. He was a very rich bar owner obviously. I also couldn't believe that I actually witnessed something so horrible in person. I needed to be more careful of the places I choose to go to. The Sunset Sky Bar and Grill was a very dangerous place.

After doing more research, I also found out that there were two prior shootings and one stabbing at the same bar. No one died those times. I could've checked into all of that before going to the Sunset Sky Bar and Grill, but it didn't matter. Even places with no prior crime history can turn into a crime infested nightmare of a sudden.

I didn't even want to go out anymore. I just spent the rest of the evening laying in the bed in silence. I cut the AC on, and left the light on in the room, before drifting off to sleep.
