Today, I decided it was time for a fresh look, so I hopped over to African Braid Terrain for some professional feed-in braids. Don’t get me wrong, I love wearing wigs, but I started to feel like my hair was getting tangled and matted underneath. It was definitely time for a change!
Walking into the salon, I felt a blend of excitement and anticipation. The atmosphere was vibrant, filled with the hum of conversation and the scent of hair products. I was ready to let go of the hassle and embrace a style that would allow my natural hair to breathe a little.
Now, let me tell you about the magical transformation that happened next. The stylist was incredibly skilled and took the time to discuss my preferences and show me some creative options. Feed-in braids offer such versatility. I loved how they seamlessly blend with my natural hair. What I appreciated the most was how they helped me maintain a protective style while still looking fabulous.
While sitting in the chair, I couldn’t help but immerse myself in the experience. It’s not just about getting your hair done; it’s about self-care and expression. As the stylist worked her magic, I felt my creative side awakened. It reminded me how important it is to try new things and step out of your comfort zone, even when it comes to your hair. I asked the stylist if she could do my baby hairs, but she said she doesn't do baby hair.
