A Bold Decision: Saying No to Alcohol at No Females Allowed Records
Today marks a significant turning point for my label, No Females Allowed Records. After careful consideration, I've decided to implement a strict ban on alcohol within the company. This decision stems from my deep-seated belief that alcohol is a sneaky, conniving substance with the potential to lead to trouble, and not just the kind that makes for wild stories at parties.
The model of the music business often includes nights of revelry, but too frequently, alcohol has been at the center of chaos. It’s an unpredictable element that can cloud judgment, derail creativity, and ultimately lead to unfavorable situations—situations that might drag me into legal troubles I simply don't want to deal with. I’m not one for the legal system, nor do I want to find myself in situations surrounded by women, especially given my firm stance on keeping that environment clear of any distractions.
I keep my focus on what truly matters: the music, the films, and fostering a creative space that’s free from the turmoil that alcohol can bring. By eliminating alcohol from my operations, I’m paving the way for a healthier, more productive atmosphere where creativity can flourish without the shadow of intoxication hanging over it.
This decision is serious. It’s about taking control of the narrative at No Females Allowed Records and ensuring it remains a place where creativity thrives without any undermining influences. Moving forward, I’ll embrace a culture that prioritizes clear minds and focused creativity.
Here’s to a new era—one where the music comes first and where distractions are left at the door. Cheers to the future, sober and free!
